Mango and coconut rice

Today I'm going to show you how to make delicious yum yum yummy Thai mango sticky rice. So many of you guys asked me when are you going to share some dessert and sweet recipes. So here you go let's get into it I recommended to started cooking the sticky rice. At the beginning of this recipe because you will need this hot sticky rice to make it a perfect texture of coconut sweet rice. for more details check out my how-to-make sticky rice. The rice would take about 20 minutes. Some while the rice is cooking we can start making coconut cream sauce and coconut cream mixture for the rice.

let's make salty coconut cream sauce first in a small saucepan add 1/2 cup of coconut cream and pour a TSP of salt mix all the ingredients together and bring it to simmer over medium heat you can find coconut cream really easily at your local Asian grocery stores or online.

I will put the link down below in the description box where you can find it online but if you only use coconut milk just add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch to thicken it up a little more that's it for salty coconut cream sauce and setaside since we made the salty coconut cream sauce. It's time to make sweet coconut cream in another saucepan. Add one cup of coconut cream or 3/4 cup of coconut milk add 1/2 cup of sugar and a quarter teaspoon of salt and whisk everything together until the sugar has dicho and the sauce starts simmering over medium heat. Around the edge remove from heat and keep it warm all right. By now your sticky rice is supposed to be done cooking while the rice and sweet coconut mixture are hot. We are going to combine them all together in a large mixing bowl. Cover with a plastic wrap or if you're lazy like me just cover with your steamer cover thingy and let it sit about 15 to 20 minutes until the rice will soak up all the sweet coconut cream. It's gonna be so delicious meanwhile you can peel and cut up the mango. After 15 to 20 minutes fluff up the rice as you can see this is not like a porridge a texture the rice still has to have the texture of every single grain is it coated it with coconut cream. Now let it serve place a sweet coconut cream rice then slice the mango pour a little bit of a salty coconut cream sauce right on top and sprinkle with some toasted mung beans or sesame seeds. I just posted my mung bean just simply ordered rice. ELab about three to five minutes on today got a little darker color but personally I like sesame seeds better though.
